today we awoke from our days inn and had a wonderfully pleasant breakfast, sort of..
we hit the road and stayed on the road.
we had our first picnic lunch at one of several seemingly identical Tennessee rest stops
we then continued on to Nashville
the pictures above are some of the sights from Nashville aka "the music city"
the first was taken outside of one of many places to drink and listen to live country music.
the second is inside Mikes ice cream where i got some banana ice cream while Greg was thrilled by his moose tracks malt which he described as, "maltified wombus!"
the third pic is of a view of the Tennessee titans stadium from across the Cumberland river
some other highlights of Nashville were a very tall AT&T building which captured Greg's attention(see Greg's post)
we also went into a gift shop where some merch was very interesting but too explicit for this article
we left Nashville and headed towards Memphis.
finally made touchdown at Econo Lodge and had late night dinner at Perkins.
disappointedly did not get the tremendous twelve
