


On Friday afternoon we visited Soda Dam where mineral deposits from hot springs formed a dam on the Jemez river and the water falls through a small hole. here's a picture of the dam and a video of the inner cavern. Another entertaining experience at the dam was two guys who mooned us, and every other passing car. Before we visited the dam, we went to a small hot springs where you went through a poison ivy ridden trek to get to the very relaxing hot springs. One small note: there were several "rainbow people" at the springs who decided to express "themselves".
that night we had a campfire as rain began to fall. we grilled some delicious dogs and ate some beans. check out the pics:

G'ma said... this is fun to see and interesting. G'pa and I are back home 6/30. We drove through torrential rain worse than Memphis!. I have to research rainbow people. G'pa doesn't know either.
